SQ-Med, a Nanjing, Jiangsu based neuromodulation company, is focused on the development of proprietary medical devices and therapies to patients worldwide. The Company’s patented technology, the EMG Bridge, is focused on the rehabilitation of paralyzed limbs.


SQ-Med’s technology, created by Prof. Zhi-Gong Wang and Prof. Xiaoying Lu of Southeast University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Electrical Engineering, delivers a high-frequency electrical signal to sensory nerves in the peripheral nervous system to block the pain signal. The system consists of an electrode (also known as a lead) placed around a peripheral nerve and an implantable pulse generator (IPG).
